Mitchelle's story
Mitchelle is 44 years old and is married. She lives in the province of Cebu where she runs a food stall, selling homemade food to earn an income. She has been in this business for 10 years.
Currently, Mitchelle is asking for a loan of PHP 70, 000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan as additional capital to buy food ingredients. Through this loan, Mitchelle will be able to improve her business for a living.
