Mrs. Đại, 52 years old, lives with her husband in a remote mountainous area of Thanh Hoa province. They are an ethnic minority family, and their two children are already grown and working far from home, leaving the couple to rely on their own efforts. Her husband works as a manual laborer, while she does small-scale farming and livestock raising. Their income is unstable and only enough to cover daily living expenses.

Their pigsty has deteriorated over the years, but they do not have the financial means to rebuild it. Mrs. Đại is now applying for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase construction materials and build a new pigsty. With this improved facility, she plans to raise pigs in the future to help increase her family’s income and create a more stable livelihood.
