A loan of $1,000 helps to buy milk, sugar, plantains, cooking oil and so on for making empanadas and other street food.

Cindy Guadalupe's story
Cindy lives with her husband and her two children, who are minors. Her mother and one sister also live with them. Cindy's children are her financial dependents.
For 10 years now Cindy has worked making and selling food such as empanadas and other street food. She learnt how to do this work from her family. Cindy works with her sister, and her hours of work are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cindy is applying for a loan to build up her business inventory. She will invest in buying milk, sugar, plantains, cooking oil and so on for making empanadas and other street food. She hopes that sales of her products will grow and generate greater earnings for her.
Her aspirations are to have a much bigger business and to teach her children about the business.
