I come from a family of craftsmen. My great-grandfather was a tailor who sewed garments for the British Army during the Burma Campaign in World War II. After the war, he rebuilt his business in India, but it collapsed during Partition. His dedication to his craft and perseverance despite loss inspired me to continue his legacy through American Bison.

What motivates me most is the opportunity to create something meaningful, an apparel brand that combines quality, purpose, and opportunity. I am passionate about building a business that not only produces high-quality clothing but also trains and employs students and community members, giving them hands-on experience in design, marketing, and production. For me, this is more than a business; it is a way to honor my family’s history and empower others.
