A loan of $375 helped to buy sewing supplies.

Irene's story

Irene, 43, is married and has a son. She lives in her own house in the rural zone of Pátapo District located in Chiclayo Province in northern Perú. Her community is small and noted for being very united. She makes weavings and sewn items. She’s been doing this for the past five years at home. She learned from a close relative, that is to say, she knows this occupation to perfection. She has a well-established clientele in the community as well as in the urban part of the district. The items Irene produces are highly sought after because she makes items of the best quality. Demand for her services and products has increased and she needs to fill pending customer orders. To do so, she needs to buy supplies.

This investment will make it possible for her to fill all her customer orders and thus increase income. She also wants to use part of the loan to do some home repairs because her house is in a deteriorated condition. To reach her goals she has thought it convenient to ask Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan. Irene is very well known in her area and has good personal and work references. Her greatest wish is to grow in business and income to improve her and her family’s quality of life.
