A loan of $650 helped to purchase wood, reeds, lacquer, alcohol, cloth and tools.

Miguel Angel's story

Señor Miguel, age 53, is married and has three adult children. He has a carpentry workshop located in his house in which he makes doors, chairs, and dining room sets. Don Miguel began his business 15 years ago. He has been involved in carpentry since childhood. He learned the trade from his brother.

When he began, Don Miguel didn’t have many tools. With the passage of time, he began to build up the capital needed to buy the wood required for his products. The loan will be invested in the purchase of raw materials such as wood, reeds, lacquer, alcohol, cloth, and tools in order to meet commitments for orders that are currently pending.
