Loure's story

This is 56-year-old Loure from Liberia. She is married and has 4 children; they are presently in school and live at home.

Loure runs business selling oil and other food items. For seven years, she has been operating her sales.

She learned how to sell from her friend and started the business with earnings from her husband. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site and sells Monday through Saturday.

To maintain her business, Loure requested a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner, to buy more oil and other food items to sell in order to generate greater profits.

She likes her business because it takes care of her family. She wants to build a house and continue her children's education.

Loure is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
