Cholpon's story
The sweet Cholpon is grateful to Kiva and all the lenders for the prior financing she has received. Now she has decided to apply for financing again, and hopes that this too will go well. Cholpon is 63 years old, is married, and has three children. She had a secondary specialized education, and is calm, goal-oriented, and responsible by nature. She has been raising livestock and growing crops for many years, as her main contribution to the family income. Thanks to Cholpon's hard work, her farm presently comprises five cows, 40 sheep, and seven horses.
In order to develop her business further, Cholpon has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her yield of organic milk. The income generated by the loan will help improve her family's material situation and expand her farm.
