Julia is the single mother of a young son. She lives in her own house, located in the Hacienda Vieja sector. She works as a field hand for the Checas company and is a very enterprising woman with a desire to help her son get ahead. After putting forth great effort, she was able to save up enough money to begin having her house built. She needs this loan in order to finish. She tells us that her dream is to finish building her house in order to provide her son with a better quality of life. She is very grateful for the support she has gotten by means of this loan.

La Sra. es una persona muy emprendedora, con ganas de sacar adelante a su hijo, y que gracias a su empeño y dedicación logró juntar un dinero y empezar a construir su casa. Requiere el crédito para poder terminar de construir su vivienda. Su sueño como nos manifiesta es terminar de construir dicha vivienda, para darle una mejor calidad de vida a su pequeño hijo. About Caja Rural Señor de Luren

Caja Rural Señor de Luren is a microfinance institution based in Ica in southern Peru that primarily promotes the development of the country’s agricultural sector through lending. Today, it also offers credit for consumers, microenterprises and housing improvements, and has expanded its financial services to promote micro-savings and provide micro-insurance. This institution has been instrumental in helping borrowers recover from the devastating earthquake in the Ica region in 2007, and works with Peru’s National Bank to reach some of the poorest and most remote microfinance clients in the country.
