A loan of $3,000 helped to provide working capital for my business and furnish event space.

Charae's story

"I am a single mom of one. After going through a divorce at such a young age, I am met with a reflection of myself and where my goals and ambitions have been put on hold. I have been at a standstill for six years while trying to focus on my family and corporate success.

Owning a modern event space for millennials has always been my goal. Though, my idea began as a retail establishment, it has evolved to be something I never imagined but well worth the wait and time put into it. While losing myself in a relationship, I hope to use my business as a platform to reach out to young girls and encourage them to follow their dreams and learn how to recognize distractions in its rarest forms.
Recently, with the support of Hamilton County, I have been able to start my own business to invigorate my entrepreneurial journey. My goal is to create a successful event venue business that can not only provide for my family, but also give voice to young girls in the community through our private classes."

This loan is special because:

It will help the entrepreneur launch her business and decorate the event space.
