A loan of $5,000 helped seek out, purchase, and distribute ethically-produced products and promote socially-cognizant entrepreneurs within the Tulsa area.

Sofia's story

“Jujuu” actually tells a lot about my own personal story. I am the product of Indian (“Gujrati”or “Guju”) immigrants and married to the most incredible Jew. Good karma or “juju” can come about through doing good for others, and that’s why Jujuu exists!

My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic, dreamer mentality, and value for education which really have driven the creation of Jujuu and the desire to promote goods that give back. My husband and I are both Tulsa implants but have called it home for eight years. Within that time, we have fell in love with the community and have focused much of our lives and careers here on the Jewish concept of “tikkun olam” or making the world a better place. I am forever grateful for Tulsa and hope to return the favor with Jujuu!
