A loan of $650 helped maria to buy fertilizers for her coffee crops.

Maria Noelia's story

Maria is 31 years old and married. She lives with her husband and their two children in a village of the municipality of Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara.
Maria has her own land where she has grown coffee for 8 years. In her community she sells coffee in humid, grape, dry and golden grain, and this is how she obtains income for her family.
She is requesting her third loan to ODEf for the amount of 15,000 Lempiras that she will invest in buying fertilizers for her coffee crops. This will help her to improve her harvest for the following season. Her goal is to grow two "manzanas" (=1.4 hectares) of coffee in order to obtain more financial income and a better harvest.
