Queens Group's story

Marlador is a 37-year-old mother of three children. She is a group leader and also the featured borrower, often described as a very hardworking individual, and is representing a group of five members in Queens Group. Marlador is shown in the middle of the picture.

Marlador and her group members are requesting a loan totaling SLL 8,750,000. She is entitled to SLL 1,750,000 of this amount and will use it to purchase bundles of plastic slippers. Marlador believes she can have a better life for her family by continuing to work with ARD. With the profits from this loan she plans to save some money for her children’s education.
