A loan of $650 helped buy blue corn meal for her cattle.

Maria Gloria's story

57-year old María is a single mother of a 13-year old son who attends school in the mornings and also helps her with the business. For more than twenty years María has raised and sold cattle, a job she learned from her parents. She runs her business from her home.

María has decided to seek a loan to buy blue corn meal so her cattle have a good diet and grow up strong and healthy. Then she will be able to sell them in optimum condition to her customers who will pay more for them. She hopes that the results will be positive so she can improve her financial situation.

Her greatest wish is to provide her son with the opportunity to continue his education so that he gets a good job and has a bright future.
