A loan of $800 helped to buy seeds and fertilizers to harvest plantains.

Ana Yessenia's story

Ana is 25 years old, could only study up to 9th grade, is married, and makes a living growing plantains. She has a three year old daughter, who is her sole dependent.

Ana works in agriculture, growing plantains with her husband. She knows that working in the field is not easy, but she is always ready to work to earn a living to feed her young daughter. She works a kilometer away from her house between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Ana needs this loan to buy seeds and fertilizers to plant plantains. The loan will be very helpful as it will allow her to complete her harvest that provides the income to support her daily life.

She dreams of having a beautiful house, and for her daughter to grow up in a supportive environment, which she plans on achieving in the same way she has done up to now, by working very hard.
