Hagurukukore B Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bananas, plantains, maize, and beans.

Hagurukukore B Tcb Group's story

Marie Claire is a 32-year-old mother of three children between the ages of 3 and 9. Her husband is a farmer. For the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Marie Claire is the leader of the group named Hagurukukore B TCB, which means “stand up and work” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Claire will use her portion of the loan to buy more bananas, plantains, maize, and beans to sell in her community so that she can meet the demands of her customers. With the profits from her sales, she plans to pay school fees for her children.

Marie Claire is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
