A loan helped to buy supplies for his carpentry workshop.

Pablo Javier's story

Pablo is 21 years old. He lives in the city of Quito, and he is a Venezuelan man who had to emigrate from the violence and the economic situation of his country to look for a better future. He is very hardworking, since from very young age he had to work to help his family. He now does occasional masonry and carpentry work, but the desire to improve himself has led him to start a carpentry business as he has already done several jobs and tasks for his neighbors. These tasks have helped him to be able to support himself financially and have a dignified life.

Pablo is very keen to start this business and thus be able to get ahead. That is why he is requesting a loan for the purchase of raw materials and supplies to formalize his business. His people skills and the quality of his work is well received by his clients.

Pablo is very grateful to Kiva for the help given to vulnerable people.
