Loreta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for some medical visits and medical treatments that she needs annually to be able to lead a productive and fulfilling life.

Loreta's story

Loreta, seen in the photo preparing a traditional pie called "lakror" in Korca, is a member of the vulnerable ethnic minority of Egyptian Albanians. The Roman and Egyptian thrifty items markets are the largest and only ones in the cities. She buys used shoes and/or new ones with some defects from product manufacturing and sells them to the local community.

Loreta divorced very long ago and had custody of her daughter. Her daughter had the same bad luck as her mother, and she got divorced recently and is now living with her mother and her four-year-old daughter.

Loreta is seeking a Kiva loan in order to pay for some medical visits and medical treatments that she needs annually. She hopes that with your support she will recover quickly and be able to lead a productive and fulfilling life.
