Bryan Woliner serves as Chief Financial Officer at Kiva, bringing 20 years of experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on impact investing and financial inclusion. Prior to joining Kiva, he spent 15 years at Root Capital, a leading social investment fund that has provided more than $2 billion in credit and advisory services to businesses worldwide. As CFO from 2018 to 2025, he managed a global team across six countries, overseeing finance, investor relations, and IT operations, while co-chairing the Senior Leadership Team and serving as a key liaison to the Board. Bryan is also Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Connect Humanity, a nonprofit impact investor working to close the digital divide. In this capacity, he chairs the Audit Committee and represents the board on the Investment Committee. Bryan has an MBA and an MS in Information Systems from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oberlin College.
