Once you have people interested in the event, you’ll likely need a small group to help with organizing. Here are some different roles to consider for the community events. Individuals can always take on more than one!
Venue coordinator: responsible for finding suitable venue, building relationships with owner, and securing the time and date of the event. Check out our venue recommendations for more information.
Marketer: responsible for getting the word out about the event (see our promotion section for more details)
Host: responsible for leading off discussion, presenting information about Kiva, and thanking everyone at the conclusion of the event.
Food & drink coordinator: Coordinate the purchase, transport and setup of food and drinks at the event if applicable.
