Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

I want to help my community, especially immigrant women who need an impulse to start their businesses when they arrive in this country. I like doing this because I realize how difficult it is to find help.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

Well, I know this community very well since I have lived in the Fruitvale in Oakland over 18 years, so I know lots of people. I plan to endorse this community that I have gotten to know through my business. I plan to endorse those who work hard and pay back. I know that Kiva will give me the tools to help my community become stronger and really enthusiastic about that.
