Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

Ujamaa Africa through its ''Ujamaa Mashinani pogram" which translates to 'together we can succeed economically'' seeks to reduce incidences of intimate partner violence through economic empowerment of women and other victims of gender based violence by giving them a platform gain business skills and access credit to start and grow their own businesses. We are hoping to create more opportunities for our Clients to access more Credit and grow our client Base.

Our Mission is to promote health, personal security and economic empowerment for vulnerable women and children.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

The Borrower, must meet the minimum threshold: 1. Should have an existing business, 2. Must have undergone our 8 weeks business training 3. Should have been and active client for a period not less six months time. 4. He/She should be in a group and attending weekly meetings at our offices.
