Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

We think that Kiva Zip will provide our members with a tangible and actual means to fulfill our mission to catalyze investments fund small, local sustainable food and farming enterprises.

What is the mission of your organization?

To build a community collaborating to invest in small, local sustainable food and farm enterprises and build understanding of how to adjust return expectations to fit the impact sought.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

We will ask each borrower to submit an application to Slow Money NYC. We will ask them to present their business at one of our upcoming Meetups such as Foodstand Spotlight. We will ask for financial projections and one character reference if the enterprise is not known to our network.
