We loan because...
We want to make a difference. We want to help people have better lives. We want to help people achieve their dreams.

About us
We are the Spring Hill Kiva Project!

We are a diverse group of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students from Spring Hill Academy in Petaluma, California. This year, our teachers implemented an entrepreneurial program that combines philanthropy and business, showing us that making money and helping the world can go hand in hand.

We are partnering with Kiva ( to offer microfinance loans to people around the world. The money we loan our clients will be used to help them improve their life - from increased business supplies for a fisherman in the Philippines to helping a farmer in Kenya.

We need your help in launching our philanthropy program. We are asking you to become an angel investor in the Spring Hill Kiva Project. Each dollar raised will be used to fund a Kiva client. This isn’t a one year project - we want to create a sustainable program that will be run by future Spring Hill students.

We are going to do great things for people - please join us.
