We loan because...
To prevent women and children from making the dangerous journey to the United States to support their families. We hope to help keep families together, and sustain local economies.

About us
We are a group of SBCC students of whom were inspired by Sonia Nazario's novel Enrique's Journey. The novel enlightened the dangerous journey made by many women and children from South and Central America to the United States in order to support their families and send their kids to school. We strive to create economically sustainable communities, and prevent women and children from leaving their families and homes to embark on dangerous journeys. **NOTE: We are neither anti or pro illegal immigration. Our main goal is to ease economic suffering and prevent women and children from the deadly journey to the U.S.
