We loan because...
The best way to help others is to help them help themselves. The Jewish scholar and philosopher Maimonides said that among the eight levels of charity, this is the best level because by strengthening someone's ability to provide for himself, he will no longer be dependent upon others.

About us
My friends and family are helping me make the world a better place for all. By using kiva as the platform for my mitzvah project, I will be able to continually give loans as each set is repaid.
