This is a community of people interested in making a difference for entrepreneurs and families who are affected by illness or physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disability. We also support caregivers, entrepreneurs involved in the medical profession and anyone who is touched in any way by disabilities, chronic illnesses or one time medical needs.

About us
Anyone who has an interest in disability issues or rights may join our team. This team was started as a way to find and keep track of Kiva entrepreneurs who are affected by illnesses or disabilities so that we might see what kind of difference we are making in the lives of these entrepreneurs.

This team was originally created by a group of KivaFriends, but has always been open to anyone. If you are interested, you can read about the team history here:
