In the San Martín region of the Peruvian Amazon, Cotton Nation supports the livelihoods of more than 3,000 Indigenous and rural producers to grow organic cotton. For many farming families, cotton is their most reliable form of income in a region where climate shocks and fluctuating prices make agriculture increasingly uncertain.
Cotton Nation guarantees the purchase of its producers’ cotton at premium prices, ensuring they have predictable income to support their families. The company also finances the cotton production cycle, covering costs for seeds, organic inputs, and technical assistance, so farmers don’t need to get into debt to grow crops.
Environmental conservation is central to Cotton Nation’s mission. It works alongside local producers to grow cotton using regenerative practices that actively restore soil health and local biodiversity. These include using only organic fertilizers, rotating crops to restore soil nutrients, and growing cotton near other trees that provide shade and habitats for local wildlife.
Cotton Nation sells certified organic cotton to global brands that value traceability and sustainability. With your support, Cotton Nation can continue to support the livelihoods of thousands of cotton farmers, helping them to build climate resilience through financial stability and regenerative farming that protects the lands upon which they depend.

In the coffee-growing region of Rodríguez de Mendoza in Peru’s Amazonas region, Valle Verde supports close to 500 smallholder farmers to build more sustainable and profitable coffee farms. Nearly half of Valle Verde’s members are women, many are heads of their households and face challenges like unstable income and limited technical support.
The cooperative holds organic, Fairtrade, and Rainforest Alliance certifications, enabling its farmers to sell their coffee in premium markets and receive prices that are higher than those offered by local buyers.
Additionally, Valle Verde provides on-site training in sustainable practices that improve soil health, protect local biodiversity, and help improve coffee crops. Members can also access small credit lines to help cover the costs of inputs, reducing dependence on informal lenders and improving their financial stability.
With this support, Valle Verde’s members have increased their production by almost 50% and now earn 77% on average compared to non-members.
The cooperative also leads reforestation initiatives, encouraging farmers to plant shade trees that regulate extreme temperatures and make farms more climate resilient. These agroforestry practices protect the biodiversity of surrounding Amazon forests.
With your support Valle Verde can expand its reach, especially to women producers, and support more smallholder farms in this remote region to increase their incomes and long-term stability through organic coffee farming.
