I loan because:
I am a helper and a healer. First world medicine involves more paper pushing (or the computer equivalent; I miss paper!) than I would like, so I want to make a difference at the most basic levels... I am lucky to have had the opportunities that I did, and, thanks to those opportunities, doubly lucky to be able to support others in pursuit of their dreams.
About me:
I think everyone has a pretty good idea of what a doctor does- it's exactly what one would imagine. My work is rewarding much like KIVA- every day I am thankful and happy that I am able to help others :)
