About me:
I have traveled in many of the countries we help here and have seen many in need. My cat Oscar also has his own team - Oscar on Kiva - so feel free to join him there on the Oscar loans. I volunteer locally on many projects, via New York Cares, where I help emigrants with their English and prepare them for the US citizenship exam, help at soup kitchens and read short stories to seniors in nursing homes, I also volunteer at God's Love We Deliver, which prepares and delivers free food to those in need: over 0ne millions free meals a year and all fueled by volunteers. I am a volunteer editor at Milaap in India, whose loans come up on Kiva and which have an excellent repayment record. And I support Mali Rising ... www.malirisingfdn.org which builds schools in rural Mali. Please check them out, if you have read this far...they do an immense amount of good in a very impoverished country.
