The Bible says in Proverbs 21:13 (NIV) that..."If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered." I was born in Ghana and migrated to Canada as a young adult. My un-educated single-parent mother had no opportunity to borrow from the bank to start a trade. It is often difficult to raise capital to commence any form of trade in a poor or developing country if you do not have a significant collateral. Today, I consider myself blessed and I would like to make an impact on other people's lives by helping out with the little that I can.
