I loan because:
I care! My family came from a poor upbringing in Mexico and I have been lucky enough to have become successfull. I know first hand how hard it is to start a business and borrow money, my father succesfully started his business in his home country of Mexico (I remember putting stone to mortar on one of the buildings as a little kid!). My main focus is Mexico since that is where my family is from. My husband Alberto is an economist and we have had discussions on helping folks with a hand-up (via a micro-loan) rather than a hand out. So to all of you that are in a positon to help I say, share your success with others!
