I loan because:
Because economic prosperity is achieved not through mere employment or possession of goods, but through factors of production and value creation. The best possible means of ending poverty is through increasing education and productivity and by encouraging voluntary trade. There are few better means of achieving this than through micro-lending. Durable income producing assets are tools humans can utilize to increase overall standards of living for themselves, and anyone with whom they engage in voluntary trade.
