I loan because:
I know how lucky I am being born in a rich European country. I enjoy travelling and have seen my share of poverty and suffering. As a result, I think poverty is a human rights issue and I want to do my part by lending money through Kiva, to empower those who wouldn't normally have access to the kinds of opportunities we in the West. I also find the whole lending process fun... apart from choosing who to loan to, I find that kinda stressfull! So many deserving people!!!
About me:
Born in Wales, moved to England when I was 17 for college and then Canada when I was 25, lived there for 10 years moved back to London in 2005 and back to Canada in 2015... makes my head spin!
