I loan because:
When I was in the 6th grade I read this sign on my guidance counselor's wall "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man how to fish and he eats for a lifetime." That signed shaped my belief that real humanitarianism is about empowering others to achieve self sufficiency. I loan because self sufficiency is a universal human right.
About me:
I am a life long learner who strongly feels my life goal is to help redistribute wealth, one dollar at a time. Throughout my academic career I have benefited from 10's of thousands of dollars of scholarship and grants. This benevolence instilled in me a strong sense to pay it forward.
