I loan because:
I'm sick of watching members of the so-called "first world" frittering away their money on rubbish. Kiva gives me the opportunity to give some direct help, to do something real. I hope to see the money again, but if I don't then at least I've helped someone, that's all that matters. When the funds come back, they will then go to help someone else. I won't be withdrawing any funds, I'll just wait for some repayments before I reinvest. The funds I have invested will ALWAYS stay with Kiva.
