I loan because:
I want to help people and make the world a better place. My preferred projects to support are those involving renewable energy (solar panels, electric taxis) and organic food production. And education/books. I have a soft spot for Bolivia, because the people of Bolivia elected politicians who voted into law "The Law of the Rights of Mother Earth", which gives legal rights to nature. (see http://bit.ly/1cwXg66 ) For that, I am eternally grateful to the ppl of Bolivia. I also feel safe knowing that any money spent in Bolivia won't be funding environmental destruction in the name of social and economic development. Long live Kiva
