I loan because:
This portfolio is kept in memory of Carrie (1939 - 2008) and Robert (1924-2013). Carrie wanted this portfolio to help women around the world who were taking care of their children and involved in agriculture or food production. Being an orphan herself and a volunteer teaching art to children in orphanages, I know Carrie would also find a personal joy in assisting women who have taken in orphans.
About me:
Carrie went through more than anyone should have to as a child, but always maintained a positive outlook and zeal for life - learning, traveling and helping others. Her unrelenting spirit for life was an inspiration to all who knew her. She and Robert enjoyed almost 20 years of marriage, traveling, dancing and laughing together.
