I loan because:
I enjoy helping others - especially those who need the help but those also who are willing to "have a go" at supporting themselves regardless of how poor they are. This little bit of support hopefully one day will multiple for them and they in turn can then help others of their own to get ahead in life.
About me:
I was a law enforcement officer in a small rural township in Western Queensland Australia. I live in a town that is also remote and "poor" or disadvantaged by some Australian standards and has many natural hardships. ie climate, remoteness to facilities and services, drought, and declining rural population. I have now retired and drive a truck doing delivery for Lifeline or Uniting Care Australia.
