Betty Janeth's story

Betty Janeth A. C. lives in the capital of El Salvador, San Salvador, and is a single mother to three children. She has two girls (ages 23 and 16) and one boy (age 9). Her two youngest children are still in school. Her 23-year-old daughter graduated from high school, but because of the lack of economic resources she has had to put aside her dream of going to college and instead has found a job.

Betty has a small sewing shop in her home, where she makes dresses and all kinds of custom-tailored clothing. Betty is requesting a loan because she wants to buy another sewing machine so that she can increase her production which will help her increase her earnings.
