C9600 Kabare 2 Group's story

Dorothe was elected president of her group called Kabare (she is the one with her hand raised up in a blue t-shirt). She is aged 43 and a mother of 6 children. Not only is she responsible for the group, but also for looking after her family.

Dorothe operates a food stall selling items like potatoes, charcoal, vegetables and beans. She wakes up early in the morning on a daily basis to start her day's work.

Now she wants to expand her business, and also to buy some goats and cows which can bring in more income. This will enable her to improve life for her family, and also to provide an education for her children in order to give them a better life.
