A loan helped a member to buy fabric and other supplies to sew ao po'i (a traditional fine embroidery).

La Primavera Group's story

This group's name is La Primavera. It is in its fourteenth cycle within the women's committee program, and all of its members work hard and help each other get ahead. They have set a goal for themselves, which is for every one of them to grow and improve with the support of her fellow members.

Juliana is one of these members. She works selling handmade traditional "ao po'i" embroidery, which she sews herself. Thanks to her continuing effort and the help offered by Fundación Paraguaya, her business has been gradually improving.

Juliana is requesting this loan to buy fabric, thread, and other supplies she needs in order to craft her "ao po'i" clothing items. This will allow her to improve her income, as well as her family's quality of life.

In this group: Juliana, Erma, Maria, Agueda, Delia, Maria, Petrona, Martiniana, Eusebia, Celsa, Perla, Gloria, Liria, Lidia, Isabel, Liz, Flavia, Ramona, Miryan, Maria, Maria, Victoria, Maria, Ramona
