A loan of $575 helped buy eggs to sell.

Mary's story

Mary E.'s goal is to work hard and be productive. Through dedication and commitment she is living up to that. She sells cooked eggs with pepper and assorted biscuits by a road in Cape Coast, Ghana called Moore Junction.

Mary says she enjoys selling them and has done so for 10 years and is now in taking care of the home. Mary E. is 31 years old, married and the mother of a child who is currently in school.

She arranges the eggs on a tray and mostly sells to travelers. Mary treks to the poultry farmers in Ashanti and the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana to purchase the eggs. She does not have sufficient capital to buy more. She is requesting a loan to realize her dream of taking care of the family.

With the loan she wants to buy more from farmers to avoid frequent traveling which she believes is retarding her sales. Mary will be grateful for your loan support. Mary belongs to a group called ‘Gina Pin Tin’ which means Stand Firm.
