Luteete Women Group's story

Winnie Ruth is a 36-year-old mother of three children, of whom two attend school. She is a permanent resident in the nearby surrounding area. She owns a boutique, which she operates, dealing in the sale of new and second-hand clothes.

She is a first-time borrower with Ugafode Microfinance Ltd. (MDI). She is applying for a portion of a 2,500,000 UGX loan. The main purpose of her loan is to buy stock of clothing for resale during the festive season. Because this is the time when she makes more sales and is able to make greater profits.

She also has a plan of expanding her business by opening up a new branch. She is so grateful for the support rendered to her and has promised to comply accordingly.
