Mujeres Emprendedoras De Micaela Bastidas Group's story

This business is called "Centro D. Copias Albert" and is a copying business that offers black and white copies, color copies, spiral binding, and binding of books or other materials.

This member started her busines with only one copier. In that time there weren't other business like this and she didn't have competition. This is how she was able to save and buy some land. On the other hand, something that helped her a lot was lending her services to different organizations like the police station, library, hospital, and the city. Given that these places are very close to her business, this is how she was able to increase her income.

After twelve years of effort, she has a stable income that lets her help her parents and help pay the family's expenses. This is the only job that she has, but her future plans are to have other copy machines and employ other people.

This group is very close, and she has belonged to it for four years.

ALCOM formed as a group in 2005. The consultant visited one of the members that had belonged to another group previously and encouraged her to form a new group

This is how the member of the previous group told the other women about credits, and they told others. They formed a group and called it, "Mujeres emprendedoras" (Enterprising Women), which was agreed on by everyone. They consider themselves fighters who can accomplish their objectives through hard work and dedication. This group is comprised of nine women and one man.

During the time the group has been together, they have had happy and sad experiences, and when they meet they can share their personal problems and help each other. These situations don't intimidate them, but instead help them become closer and more supportive.

In this group: Diana Lourdes,, Reyna Margarita,, Luis Valentin,, Natividad Nancy,, Apolinaria,, Olga,, Dorotea,, Natilda,, Lili,, Lucila,
