A loan helped to buy fertilizer for her plants, increasing her production.

Maria Olga's story

Olga is 50 years old and married. Her husband is a day laborer. They live in a very remote area. They lack some basic services. She has three children: Bizmar is 17, Jenny is 16, and Dadison is 11. They are all attending free schools in the area.

Olga grows blackberries, naranjilla and chayote. This small business has been the sole means of support for her family for the last 10 years. Olga needs the money to buy fertilizer to improve her production and obtain income to continue feeding and educating her children.
