Amal's story

Amal is 45, married and has four children, two of whom are married. Her husband is a part-time farmer and she runs a small grocery store where she sells produce to earn money for her family. Amal previously requested and repaid a 5,000 EGP loan and is now requesting another loan, for 7,000 EGP, to buy items to sell such as rice, pasta and fruits and vegetables such as onions, potatoes, bananas, and apples. Her goal is to expand her business and increase her family's income.
