A loan of $275 helped to buy a variety of fabric and supplies for her children.

Santos Sabina's story

Señora Santos Sabina P. P. is 29 years old and lives in the Moche district, in Trujillo province, in the apartment La Libertad. She studied in high school for two years and has two children that are economically dependent on her.

Santos designs and makes handicrafts, as well as sells beauty products. The business has diversified. At first she sold purses adorned with macrame. She sold them to people or established customers. The business was based in her home. With the first loan of 300 Soles from the Communal Bank "Santa Lucia II" she bought beauty products and materials for handicrafts. With this loan for 800 soles, that will be repaid over 6 months, she will buy fabric for her handicrafts, as well as supplies for her children.

Santos dreams of opening a handicraft workshop and allowing her children recreational time.
