Amanda is single, 40 years old and has three children. Amanda has a store in her house in which she sells general groceries, vegetables, and meats. Furthermore, Amanda makes barquillos (cookies) that she prepares in her home and sells on the streets.


Amanda needs a loan of 1600 soles ($525 USD), money that will be invested in the purchase of vegetables and menestras (traditional rice and bean dish).


Amanda dreams of growing her business and giving a good education to her children.
