Inocencia's story

Inocencia C. V., is a part of the Banco Comunal "Mujeres de Exito", or the Community Bank "Women of Success." She lives in the Segunda etapa Urbanización Primavera Mz. 24 Lt. 9 Manantay. She is 54 years old and had has two children. She is currently separated from her husband.

She sells food to go. Her first loan was for 300.00 Nuevos Soles. With that she bought a sun umbrella and a stove, with which she expanded her business. The loan she is currently seeking is for 3,000 Nuevos Soles, to invest in the building of a small grocery store. She has a list of the necessary items for the store, in order to begin the business. Some of the items are sugar, rice, milk, oil, pasta, soft drinks, candy, vegetables, and fruits.

Since Manuela Ramos joined this group, the loans have been a huge help. They are distributed in a very timely manner and this is an important factor for working women.
